wHERE TO STAY
For those of you that have not been back to Shreveport since our graduation we have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is the Washington-Youree Hotel and Jo-Dan Motel are no more, so don't plan on staying there. The good news is there are quite a number of new hotels that have taken their place so you have a lot of choices from which to choose.
We initially made contact with a number of hotels to see if we could get a discount group rate. They were very courteous and promptly responded with their quote, however, when we checked it against their normal rate we were somewhat surprised to learn they were either identical or within $20.00 bucks of each other. So we decided that since there was no real monetary incentive everyone can pick and choose where they want to stay.

- The Casino Hotels also offer connected parking garages where you can self-park or use their valet parking option. They also have restaurants with most having at least one open 24 hours.
